In addition to monetary donations, The Providence Rescue Mission depends on the donations of items from people just like you. Donations are accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We accept new and gently used items, including clothing, household items, books, and children's toys. Would you like to donate something that is not listed? Feel free to contact us with any questions at (401)-274-8861 ext. 110. Thank you and God bless you! *Interested in donating furniture and/or appliances? Food Pantry Donations
Please consider donating non-perishable food to our kitchen and food pantry. Since we feed an average of 14,000 meals every month, our kitchen operations depend on your support. All non-perishable food is accepted. For the health and safety of the people we serve, we kindly ask you to please refrain from contributing food that exceeds the expiration date on the package. Thank you!
Perishable Food Donations
The Providence Rescue Mission also accepts perishable and frozen food donations for use in our nightly feeding operations. We love receiving fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, yogurt, cheese, baked goods, and whatever else God may impress upon your heart to give! However, in order to protect the health and safety of the people we serve, we kindly ask you to abide by the following guidelines.
We ask that donated foods be well packaged and marked with the name of the food and the date the food was prepared; such as leftover food from a party, wedding, or banquet.
We ask that all bottles and jars such as condiments (mayonnaise, ketchup), jellies, peanut butter, milk/dairy products, etc., be unopened and unused.
Thank you for helping us feed, shelter, and protect the health of our guests!
