Each Monday afternoon, anywhere from 50 to 100 families in our community join us for a chapel service before they receive a 20 lb. bag of dry goods, such as rice, beans, and cereal. Each family then shops from the food donations we receive on a weekly basis. This may be items such as milk, yogurt, cheese, produce, and meat. In 2016 alone, we distributed food to over 3,000 families in the city of Providence, Rhode Island. Many of the families we serve use Spanish as their first language, so we make sure to have the service available in Spanish as well as a translator if they have any questions. Thank you for your generous contributions that make ministries like this possible!
